| A young warrior for his community, Jose works on each of the components of HOMEY. Jose currently attends Ida B. Wells High School and volunteers with HOMEY on top of the hours that he works. Jose has been an inspiration for the staff here at HOMEY. We have watched Jose take on leadership within the organization. Currently Jose works on the printing program, outreach and will be assisting with a young men's circle at Everett Middle School. He has published an article in the You Gotta Feel Me Newspaper that is published by HOMEY and distributed throughout the Mission District to over 24,000 homes, businesses and schools. |
