The 1st Annual Holistic Health Faire was a held on a beautiful day in the Spring of 2002 at Precita Park. The event was filled with tight poetry, speakers and great music. Former Education and Media Director Kaira Espinoza organized over 30 booths selling everything from massages to organic vegetarian food to jewelry and clothes. Folks from all over the city came together to talk about Holistic Health and the importance of educating our youth in the hood of ways to stay healthy while supporting local artists. Props goes out to the three youth organizers that came straight out of Phoenix High School (a.k.a 1950) who were hired to put the day together.
